COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – What’s the fastest growing place in the state of Michigan? According to the website HomeSnacks, it’s the City of Coldwater.
According to editors of the website, the United State Census Bureau’s American Community Survey shows Coldwater at the top of the list for Michigan, with a 10.9% population growth since 2010. They put the current population of Coldwater at 12,284.
Second on the list was Rockford, followed by Novi, Auburn Hills, New Baltimore, Chelsea, East Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Rochester, and South Lyon.
Coldwater jumped from 75 to number one on the list in just one year. It’s the fifth year the survey has been released by HomeSnacks.
