The Tigers have yet to make a free agent signing at the Winter Meetings in Nashville but on day 3, they pulled off a trade to send once promising left-handed pitcher Andy Oliver to the Pirates for minor league switch hitting catcher Ramon Cabrera.
Detroit General Manager Dave Dombrowski says they have talked to a lot of teams, but have not made an official move.
