-ranked Michigan State pulled out a scrappy win on the road last night, beating Bowling Green 64-to-53. The game was tied at 45-all midway through the second half when M-S-U went on a 14-to-2 run to pull away from the Falcons. A pair of freshmen, Gary Harris and Denzel Valentine posted 12 points each for the Spartans.
It was the fifth straight win for the 10-and-2 Spartans, who will host Texas Saturday afternoon at the Breslin Center. Tonight’s schedule includes Western Michigan at Duquesne
