COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 13th annual “Spotlight On Teens” talent show was held on Friday night at the Tibbits Opera House. Tibbits Theatre And Beyond hosted the annual show.
Erica Rodgers won first place with a lyrical dance to Celine Dion’s “The Power of Love.”
Second place winner was Samuel Lewis who sang “Collide” by Howie Day.
Third place went to Lexie Galliers for her rendition of “This is Gospel” by Panic! At the Disco.
Fourth place was awarded to Zane Tucker who sang “Home Sweet Home” by Motley Crue.
The fifth place prize was given to Hunter Jenkot who also won the High Tech Audience Choice award that was based on audience text votes. Jenkot performed Christina Aguilera’s “Hurt.”
The most creative act award winner was the No Name Band featuring Helen Blansit, Gavin Hutchins, Nate Denney, and Owen Macklem.
The best use of a costume or prop winner was Mae Blansit with a salute to Napoleon Dynamite as she danced to “Canned Heat” by Jamiroquai.
The traditional audience choice award winner was Madelyn Brodock.
The Teen Talent Show is a project of Tibbits-Theatre and Beyond, or T-Tab, a group of middle and high school students who enjoy theatre.
