COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater varsity bowling squads both defeated Parma Western 30-0 in their meet Wednesday at Midway Lanes. The boys are now 4-0. Jaden Reichhart had a 243 game and a 390 series for Coldwater while Alec Keplinger rolled a 217 and had a 387 series. In addition, Andrew Sheets had a 176 game and a 335 series while Tyler Newman rolled a 175 and had a 319 series.
The girls improved to 3-1. Allison Caswell led Coldwater with a 187 game and a 336 series while Tiffanie Corwin also had a 187 game. Alysia VanWormer rolled a 173 and had a 319 series.
Both Coldwater J.V. squads bowled unopposed, both are now 4-0. Gavin Duke had a 206 game and a 355 series to lead the boys while Addison Harvey rolled a 167 game and Hannah Furney had a 305 series for the girls.
In boys basketball, Bronson lost a non-conference game at Prairie Heights Wednesday 46-43. The loss dropped the Vikings record to 2-6. The win was the first for Prairie Heights after 13 straight losses this season.

Union City’s 8th grade girls basketball team opened their season by defeating Centreville 24-15. Ava Winstone led Union City with 10 points.
