COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Branch County Board of Commissioners Tuesday gave formal approval to a resolution that allows County Clerk Terry Kubasiak to submit a grant application to the Michigan Secretary of State in order to purchase new voting equipment.
Since the grant does not cover a laptop or a flash card reader, Commissioners gave Kubasiak permission to buy those items at a price of just over $2,300. The money will come out of the Clerk’s Election Programming Budget.
