SCOTTS, MI (WTVB) – An earthquake affected much of the region early Saturday afternoon.
According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor, which occurred at 12:23PM, registered a 4.2 on the Richter scale, and was centered south of Galesburg, near the town of Scotts in southeast Kalamazoo County.
There’s no word yet if the earthquake caused any damage.
The tremors were felt across Lower Michigan, as well as in northwest Ohio and northern Indiana.
