COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In search for a possible new site for their Resale Store, a representative from Branch County Habitat for Humanity made an inquiry to the Branch County Board of Commissioners Friday about the status of a building lot which is currently owned by the county.
Perry Gordon said Habitat’s current building on U.S. 12 near Fremont Road in the old Walter’s Building Supply location is a nice piece of property, but it’s on a curve, which makes it dangerous for those going in and out of the building.
Gordon inquired about the status of the land near the Branch County Memorial Airport that had bee the site of the old West’s Airport Inn.
County Administrator Bud Norman told Gordon that county officials would be back in touch with Habitat officials.
