COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved a contract with the Police Officers Association of Michigan Monday night who are representing Coldwater Police Department patrol officers.
City Manager Keith Baker says the contract will run through June of 2020 and it includes a two percent annual salary increase and a $1,000 signing bonus.
There is also an increase in the retirement contribution from seven-and-a-half to 10 percent.
The contract takes effect immediately. It is retroactive to July 2016 and it has already been approved by the union.
