COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A malfunctioning transformer is being blamed as about 700 Coldwater Board of Public Utilities customers on the west side of the city were affected by a power outage Friday morning.
The outage was reported to be from Northshore Drive west to Batavia Road. It was first reported between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.
CBPU crews were called out to take care of the problem.
The utility reports the power was fully restored at around 8:45 a.m.
