COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A longtime businessman and supporter of many Coldwater area projects has passed away.
Floyd “Hal” Creal died Sunday at the age of 86.
The Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater is handling arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Creal and his wife Lillian last year donated $35,000 so that the Branch County Sheriff’s Department could purchase eight portable radios.
Most recently, Creal committed over $12,000 to the construction of a playground at the Naomi Davis Shelterhouse in Coldwater. Other donations included money and the building for the Shelterhouse, the Creal Soccer Complex in Coldwater Township, and renovation work at the Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater.
