PARK TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight day, there has been a shooting involving police in St. Joseph County.
The latest took place late Wednesday night on Heimbach Road near U.S. 131 north of Three Rivers.
Not a whole lot of information has been released but the Sturgis Journal reports the St. Joseph County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating what is being called a police officer-involved shooting.
One person was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital with a gunshot wound. Another has been arrested and is lodged in the St. Joseph County Jail.
