Margaret L. Auten, 74, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday,
July 9, 2019 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been provided by
Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Margaret was born May 16, 1945 in Coldwater, MI to Otto
& Viola (Taber) Fisher. She married
Richard E. Auten on January 25, 1969 in Quincy.
He preceded her in death on April 11, 2017.
Mrs. Auten was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts
including cross stitch, knitting and jewelry making. Margaret also enjoyed watching television and
people watching.
Margaret is survived by her children DeeAnn (Jonathan)
Redding of Angola, IN, Rick (Beth) Auten of Pleasant Lake, IN, Jennifer (Jeff)
Ziems of Coldwater, her sister-in-law Sarah (Neil) Parks of Quincy, 7
grandsons,2 granddaughters and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews,
including special niece Kris Inman.
In
addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Phil Fisher,
sister Grace Welch, sister-in-law Lois Baker and mother and father-in-law Wava
& Francis Auten.
