EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan High School Athletic Association Thursday reinstated fall sports following an executive order by Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Football practice will begin Tuesday with games kicking off September 18. Volleyball, boys soccer and girls swimming will also be able to resume.
State medical experts say the order requires safety measures to reduce the risk of Covid-19 spreading to students playing contact sports.
