Rolland Virgil Hale, 61, of Litchfield, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020, unexpectedly.
Rolland was born on January 21, 1959 in Coldwater. He was a lifelong area resident of Litchfield. He worked at Midwest Foundry in Coldwater and Yukon Manufacturing in Litchfield.
He was a dedicated and loving spouse, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Rolland always cared for others and willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, hunting for morels, tinkering, and in his earlier year’s hobby farming. Rolland gave so much and asked very little in return, he will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life and high school sweetheart Rebecca Hull of Litchfield; his sons Kenneth (JilCarla) Hale of Allen, Anthony Hale, and Andrew Hale, Troy (Allison) Hull all of Litchfield; daughter Brandi (Dean) Hull, Quincy, MI.; his grandchildren Kenton, Kyle, Kollin, Krissi, Bell, Brody, Betty, Lucas, and Malachi, Harley, Kaden, Fannie, Landon; sisters Earlean (Pat) Mate of Coldwater, Roxanne (Dave) Warfield of Camden, Robin (Bill) Drumm of Wattles Park, Rita Bentley of Homer and Trixee Hale; brothers, Victor McVicker, Rene (Linda) Miller of Homer, Randy (Jessie) Miller of Quincy, Rick (Peggy) Miller of Coldwater and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Florence Signor-McVicker, Milton Hale, Virgil McVicker; his grandson Hunter Hale; sister, Roberta McCafferty; brother, Roger Miller.
Visitation is scheduled Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 2-8 P.M. at Ken’s home, 4065 S. Allen Rd, Allen. Graveside services celebrating Rolland’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Litchfield with Pastor Brent Stille officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made in memory of Rolland to the Litchfield Fire Department.
To the Litchfield Fire Department and Reading Emergency Unit paramedics a genuine thank you from the family for their efforts and professionalism through a trying and heartbreaking event.
