Legg 7th grade volleyball squads defeat Lumen Christi

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Legg Middle School seventh grade volleyball teams defeated Jackson Lumen Christi on Thursday night. The A team defeated Lumen Christi  25-8  24-26  15-8  to improve their record to 4-0 on the year.

On the night Coley Burkhardt was 8-8 at the service line with 1 ace along with 8 digs & 5 kills, Mya Porter 8-9 with 1 ace and 12 digs & 2 kills, Riley VanAken 8-11 4 aces and 5 digs, Maddie Moore 11-12 2 aces and 3 digs, Hallie McFarland 6-8 1 ace and 2 digs, Maren Debeau 5-8 3 aces and 3 digs, Ciarra Paul 3-5 with 1 ace and 4 digs, Braylinn Austin 3 digs, Olivia Golematis and Kendra Bassett 1 dig each

The B team won over Lumen Christi 25-21, 25-16, 12-15.  Leading the Lady Cards was Carly Krzyzanski going 19/20 with 12 aces, Ava Gilchrist was 4/7 with 2aces, Bailey Kasperski was 3/7 with 1ace, Maria Ortiz was 4/9 with 2aces and Maranda Walinski was 2/3 with 1 ace.
