Jack Loren Fleming, 62, of Jackson, formerly of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health Center in Jackson.
A private graveside service will be held at Dayburg Cemetery. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Jack was born October 16, 1957 in Coldwater, Michigan to Clifford and Thelma (Osborn) Fleming. He attended Coldwater High School and graduated in 1975. In 1977 he married the former SuesAnn Wagoner at Dayburg Baptist Church. Although the marriage ended in divorce, they remained friends. Later in life, he married Debbie Nichols, who preceded him in death.
Jack resided in Tekonsha, Coldwater and Jackson and worked at Acorn door in Quincy for many years. He enjoyed airplanes, woodworking, being outdoors, history ,drawing and making fancy paper airplanes. He was a jack of all trades and could build anything. When Jack’s hair was long he donated it to Locks of Love.
Survivors include Jack’s children, Jennifer (David Miller) Fleming of Livonia, Jody (Wes) Pope of Sherwood and Loren-Ashlin (Kyle Holst) Fleming of Union City; siblings, Bill Fleming of Girard, Marty (Kathy) Fleming of Sagola, Greg (Lisa) Fleming of Tekonsha and Melinda Fleming of Tekonsha; grandchildren, Gavin Miller, Hamilton Pope, Samuel Pope, Lily Pope, Emmett Huntzicker Fleming and Luke Matthew Huntzicker (on the way); brother-in-law, Mike Smelser; former spouse of 16 years, SuesAnn Wagoner and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Debbie, Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother Steve Fleming.
