Winola L. Goodwin, 89, of Quincy, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Drews Place of Coldwater.
She was born November 22, 1930 in Hillsdale to Sircy and Gladys (Smith) Simons. She married Donald Goodwin and he preceded her in death on February 29, 1988.
Winola graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1949 and was retired from the Coldwater State Home. Winola loved playing cards, knitting and crochet. She was also an avid doll collector and always enjoyed finding a good deal at garage/yard sales, to keep or pass on to a friend or family member. Winola was a member of the Quincy United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Jane) Goodwin of Fennville and Dennis (Julie) Goodwin of Galesburg; grandchildren, Derek Goodwin, Michelle (Aaron) Gleeson, Dresden (Felip) Warminski, Avery (Chris) Nielson and Brennan Goodwin; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Bella, Lilly, Jax, Iven and Idalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald.
Visitation for Winola Goodwin will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from Noon to 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy. Graveside services will also be held Wednesday at 2:30 PM at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. Face coverings and social distancing are required for indoor gatherings.
