BROOKLYN, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings had to fight from behind twice on Thursday night to defeat regional tournament host Brooklyn Columbia Central three games to nothing by scores of 25-14, 25-23, 26-24 to win the M.H.S.A.A. Division Three Regional Girls Volleyball title.
The Vikings trailed in the second and third games before coming from behind and improving their record to 21-14.
Skye Woodman led the Vikings with 14 kills while Karissa Gest had 11 kills and four aces. Jadyn Cary recorded 26 digs while Meagan Lasky had 33 assists.
Bronson will face Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central in the Division Three State Quarterfinals next Tuesday night at Whitmore Lake starting at 6:00 p.m..
