QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Due to the surge of COVID-19 cases and the impact on the community, all students in the Quincy Community School district will be in virtual learning through at least December 8.
Quincy students in grades K-8 were scheduled to return to in-person learning next Monday, November 30.
The decision to move all students into virtual learning came after a review of the COVID-19 case counts.
There may also be an increase in numbers due to family gatherings over Thanksgiving.
District officials are hoping in person learning will be able to resume on December 9 for elementary, middle school and high school students if conditions improve and no further state restrictions are imposed
