COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The offices for the Tibbits Opera House will remain partially open in order to accommodate holiday requests for gift certificates, gift shop items and end-of-year donations. To best serve customers, Tibbits staff requests visitors call first.
According to Tibbits Executive Director Christine Delaney, “Even without events, the holidays are a busy time for us. Many people want to give the gift of theatre. We are confident at some point the show will go on and the value of gift certificates never expires.”
In addition to gift certificates, Tibbits has mugs and ornaments featuring the building, various theatre-themed t-shirts, and numerous other items.
The gift shop itself includes many artist creations. The gift shop, located in the art gallery of the theatre, can also be opened by appointment.
Tibbits will continue to follow the current recommendations of wearing masks and socially distancing. Some staff will at times be working remotely.
By calling first, the staff in the office can prepare gift certificates and pull gift shop items to also shorten the amount of time a visitor needs to spend in the building.
