The 1991 graduate of Union City High School was in his third year coaching Girls Varsity Basketball at Union City. He previously coached Union City girls junior varsity basketball for four years and served as the Assistant Varsity girls softball coach at Union City. Additionally, he was part of Union City’s youth basketball program.

I never knew Mike Jr. all that well in school, he was a year ahead of me. But I knew him- he was very well liked- played marbles with him more than a few times along the front sidewalk leading to the 4th grade annex of the elementary school. He was well – liked and will certainly be missed by everyone that knew him. As a teacher, his father made a bigger impact on my life than any other.
I would’ve never thought I’d loose my senior year basketball coach like that.. He was a great man and an amazing coach. RIP ❤️
