EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Friday’s announcement by the MHSAA that three fall sports tournaments will be allowed to conclude was good news for Bronson’s girls volleyball team, three members of Coldwater’s girls swimming and diving team and three area football teams.
Bronson has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Division Three girls volleyball tournament. Their match with top-ranked Monroe Saint Mary Catholic Center is now scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 5 at Whitmore Lake.
Coldwater divers Charlotte Calhoun and Mia Rzepka along with swimmer Jillian McKinley can now plan on competing in the MHSAA finals. The Diving Finals will be on January 15 with the Swimming Finals on January 16.
The MHSAA football playoff regional title games are now scheduled for January 2. Constantine will host Michigan Center in Division Six, Jackson Lumen Christi plays at Schoolcraft in Division Seven and Centreville will host Sand Creek in Division Eight.
