COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccines has arrived in the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency jurisdiction.
Branch County Commission Chair Terry Norris said during Tuesday’s meeting that they have received 100 doses of the vaccine in Three Rivers and Hillsdale on Monday while another 300 was scheduled to arrive in Branch County on Tuesday and another 100 doses are expected in Sturgis on Wednesday.
Norris said according to information she has received, the health department will start vaccinating during the four day holiday weekend.
Hospital medical personnel including first responders will be the first ones to get the vaccine.
