BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A Gilead Township man was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly threatened two persons with a knife.
Michigan State Police say Troopers along with Bronson Police were dispatched at around 9:00 p.m. to a third-party call from a mother who stated her daughter was at a residence on Stoney Point Drive.
The daughter had sent her mother a text saying she was not able to willingly leave her former boyfriends’ house.
Troopers were told by the daughter and her new boyfriend that they came to the home to retrieve some of her belongings from her ex-boyfriend.
They say that while they were inside of the residence, the ex-boyfriend allegedly presented a knife to the two and told them they were not allowed to leave until she performed sexual acts on both men.
The ex-boyfriend was arrested on charges of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct, assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful imprisonment, and a probation violation.
He was lodged at the Branch County Jail. The suspect’s name is being withheld until after his arraignment in Branch County District Court.
