Lois Elaine Teall, 85, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-12 noon at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. A private service will follow with Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
The service will be webcast on the Dutcher Funeral Home website.
Elaine was born August 19, 1935 in Coldwater, MI to Lacy & Ruth (Peavey) Tackett. She married Richard Teall, Sr. on June 6, 1953 in Coldwater. He preceded her in death in April 1997.
Mrs. Teall was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She had worked for the former Coldwater Service Co. for 15 years and for Quality Springs.
Elaine attended the Coldwater Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed the beauty of nature, listening to music, gardening and birdwatching. Elaine spent much time at Sandy Pines where she camped and enjoyed pontoon rides. Her greatest joy was time with her family. She was a very caring woman, set in her ways, with a very gentle heart.
Elaine is survived by her children Cheryl (John) Clark of Coldwater, Richard (Joni) Teall, Jr. of Addison, NY, Doug Mott of Orlando, FL, her sister Janet (Bill) Wendorf of Quincy, her grandchildren Shannon Clark (Darin Cekander), Shaun (Melissa) Clark, Kerri Clark, Jamie Clark, Brian (Katie) Clark; great grandchildren Megan Clark, Brandon Clark, Jesse Clark, Riley Hudson, Bryce Hudson, Noah Hudson; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Jeanne Erts.
