Theresa Ann Valentine, 55, of Sherwood Township, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
A private memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation in Union City.
Theresa was born March 3, 1965 in San Pablo, CA to Rudolph and Sheila (Toohey) Valentine. She moved to the Union City area with her family during childhood and went through school with the Class of 1983. As an adult, she also resided in the Battle Creek and Athens areas. Theresa was employed as a bartender and restaurant server.
Loving, kind and big-hearted, she would selflessly put others first. She loved her kids, grandkids and being “Nana.” Always thoughtful, Theresa cared deeply about animals, too. She enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles with her boyfriend, Kevin.
Left to cherish Theresa’s memory are her children, Ron Miller of Climax, Sean (Amanda) Miller of Union City and Kaila (Sean) Page of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren, Lailah Page, Bryce Page, Logan Miller and Jason Miller; her boyfriend, Kevin Dentler of Sherwood; her parents, Rudolph Valentine of Battle Creek and Sheila (Don) Standish of Union City; and her siblings, Rudy (Karleen) Valentine of Stafford, VA, John Valentine of Athens and Rocco Valentine of Union City.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Valentine, in 2012.
