LAKE ORION, MI (WTVB) – A pair of divers represented Coldwater High School Friday at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 Lower Peninsula Girls Swimming & Diving Finals at Lake Orion High School.
Senior Mia Rzepka finished 16th out of 36 qualified divers with an 11-round score of 265.9, the best finish for a diver in the young history of the Cardinal program. Freshman Charlotte Calhoun finished 23rd with a score of 117.0; only the top 20 divers advanced beyond the fifth round of diving.
This afternoon, Junior Jillian McKinley will compete on the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
Since no spectators are allowed at any of the final meets this weekend, live video will be available on a subscription basis at MHSAA.tv.
