DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Detroit Mercy has cancelled the remainder of the women’s basketball season.
Fourteen players have accused first-year head coach AnnMarie Gilbert of emotional, mental, and physical abuse along with NCAA violations.
Titans director of athletics Robert C Vowels junior said in a statement that the school has talked with the players and continues to review their concerns.
