COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School eighth grade A boys basketball opened the season with a impressive win over Jackson Northwest 54-33. Leading the scoring attack was Ayden Dirschell with 19 points. Niko Downs helped out with 13 points while Claudell Wischmeyer and Landon Auble each had seven points.
The Legg eighth grade B team lost to Jackson Northwest 20-2.
The Legg seventh 7th grade A team defeated Jackson Northwest 41-22. Austin Downs had 13 points while Bennett Mcdonald added 10 points and Jackson Reilly had five rebounds.
Legg’s 7th grade B team lost to Jackson Northwest 16-13. Leading scorer was Pablo Ocampo with six points, two steals and two rebounds. Sebastian Ocampo had five points, three steals and two rebounds.
