COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported on Monday that over 15,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far in the tri-county area.
Of the 15,117 vaccines administered, a total of 4,873 have been administered in Branch County, 5,526 in Hillsdale County and 4,718 in St. Joseph County.
Most of the doses delivered in Branch and St. Joseph Counties have been from Moderna while the majority of doses in Hillsdale County have been from Pfizer.
All of the appointments have been filled up for this week’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics which will take place at Hillsdale College’s Searle Center on Wednesday, at the Dearth Community Center in Coldwater on Thursday and at Sturgis High School on Friday.
The Health Agency’s says the daily number of new COVID-19 cases in Branch County has been in single digits every day since January 28.
Four new cases were reported on Monday which brought the total number of cases in Branch County up to 3,372.
Branch County has had the most COVID-19 related deaths in the jurisdiction with 83. There have been 78 deaths in St. Joseph County and 70 deaths in Hillsdale County.
