CLEARWATER, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 6-4 yesterday in Grapefruit League action in Clearwater, Florida.
Detroit reliever Matt Manning followed a 12-pitch at-bat by Jean Segura with a strikeout of Brice Harper on three straight fastballs.
The Tigers face the Toronto Blue Jays this afternoon.
Every seat in the Texas Rangers baseball stadium could be filled on Opening Day next month. The Rangers say 100-percent capacity will be allowed for the April 5 game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The same number of fans will be allowed for two exhibition games against the Milwaukee Brewers March 29 and 30. However, the Rangers say reduced capacity will be in place for games after Opening Day.
