BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Just one Branch County team will be in action on Monday night in the opening night of the M.H.S.A.A. Girls Basketball Districts.
Quincy will face Reading in the opening game of the Division Three District Tournament at Concord. The winner plays Concord Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.. Union City will play Homer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Coldwater and Bronson will play on Wednesday. The Lady Cardinals are hosting a Division One District and will play top-seeded Gull Lake Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.. The first game on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. will have second-seeded Battle Creek Lakeview take on Sturgis.
Bronson got a number one seed in the Division Three girls basketball districts at White Pigeon. After getting an opening round bye, the Vikings will play either Marcellus or Centreville Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.. The other semifinal on Wednesday will have second-seeded Schoolcraft face White Pigeon.
The boys basketball districts will start on Tuesday.
