CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Monday, the State of Michigan’s COVID-19 school outbreak data page reported four new outbreaks of the virus in Calhoun County public schools.
According to the state, a school outbreak is defined as having two or more COVID-19 cases that may have shared exposure on school grounds.
In Calhoun County, the schools are listed as follows:
- Sonoma Elementary, two cases reported in students.
- Harper Creek Middle School (7290 B Dr N), two cases reported in students.
- Harper Creek Middle School (7291 B Dr N), seven total cases reported in both students and staff.
- Marshall High School, four cases reported in students.
All four of these new outbreaks were listed as being reported on Monday.
