Rita I. Fish, 86, of Quincy, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
She was born on July 18, 1934 in Reading to James and Ruth (Carothers) Wells. Rita married David Fish on July 16, 1958 and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Rita retired from Acorn Products in Quincy after several years of employment. Rita and Dave owned and operated D&R Varieties and also Dave’s Tavern in Quincy. She was an avid bowler and loved playing BINGO. Rita loved University of Michigan athletics and all of the Detroit teams as well.
Rita is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Brian) Wilson of Coldwater, Linda Bailey of Battle Creek; one son, Craig (Mandy) Fish of Coldwater; one sister, Shirley; two brothers, Jim and Fred Wells; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, David, Rita was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Donna Abbott.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy. Graveside services will take place at 1:15 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy with Reverend Julie Yoder-Elmore officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
