QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – After three straight losses to open the season, the Quincy Orioles got into the win column on Thursday afternoon.
The Orioles defeated Grass Lake 7-4 in the first game of a doubleheader thanks to a four run third inning.
Karsen Maurer was the winning pitcher as he struck out six in four innings of work.
Maurer helped his own cause with an RBI double.
Brady Mescher had a two run double for the Orioles.
Grass Lake win the nightcap 15-1. Quincy’s record is now 1-4.
