Several members of the Branch County C-19 Relief Task Force met recently with the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency at their Coldwater facility to learn more about the implementation and use of the ultra cold freezer and data logger that were purchased by the C19 Relief Task Force in partnership with the Community Health Agency.
The freezer has been in operation for several weeks and is being used to store the Pfizer vaccine for regional use in the three county area. The freezer was installed centrally in Coldwater to better serve the entire region covered by the ongoing vaccination clinics.
With the pending application of approval from the FDA for emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine for 12-15 year old age group, the C-19 Task Force is hopeful that the freezer will be an even greater asset to the ongoing efforts to get more of our community vaccinated.
The C19 Relief Task Force members, a collaboration of most of the community support organizations and agencies in the region strongly urge everyone that is currently eligible to get vaccinated and contribute to the regional and state efforts to get the pandemic under control.
