JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Both of the Coldwater squads finished fifth on Tuesday at the Interstate 8 Conference Meet hosted by Jackson Northwest. Parma Western finished first in the girls meet while Harper Creek won the boys meet.
Coldwater’s Deandre Douglas won the boys long jump with a distance of 19 feet, six-and-a-half inches. Kenny Cramer was second in the shot put while Zach Coffing was third and Kevin Hall was fifth.
Top finishers for Coldwater in the girls meet included Chloe Schaale who was third in the 100, Legend Szafranski who was third in the 800, Allison Miller who was fourth in the 800, Sarah Forrister who was third in the pole vault and Anna DeMeester who was third in the shot put. Also in the girls meet, Coldwater’s 400 relay team finished second while the 800 relay team was third.
