COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Cushman scooter enthusiasts from across the country are in Coldwater this week during the 39th Annual Cushman Club Of America National Meet.
The Cushman Club Of America is a national club with an active membership of over 2,800 who are dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Cushman Motor Scooters.
“We look forward to welcoming nearly 300 Cushman Scooter enthusiasts to Coldwater Country” commented Debra Yee, Executive Director of the Coldwater Country Conference & Visitors Bureau. “Being located along the US-12 Heritage Trail the Coldwater Country area is a natural fit for these enthusiasts to enjoy a leisurely cruise taking in the natural beauty of the area.”
The National Meet is taking place at the Branch County Fairgrounds. There will be a ride starting at 6:00 p.m. Monday night along U.S. 12 to Kilgore International on the west side of Coldwater.
The week long meet also includes a daily ride, scooter games, vendors, show scooter competition, a corn hole tournament and a membership meeting.
It will conclude with a banquet at the Dearth Community Center.
