COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Sheriff John Pollack told the Board of Commissioners during their work session on Thursday the Marine Patrol is seeing another uptick in boating accidents so far this year.
He says all boaters are responsible for keeping Branch County waters safe.
Pollack said the lower water levels have not created any problems for the Marine Patrol but he said it could create some issues for the boating public especially on Coldwater Lake where there are a lot of shallows.
