BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) — After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, one of southwest Michigan’s biggest annual events is back.
The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon festival opened up for its five day run at the Battle Creek Executive Airport at Kellogg Field on Wednesday night.
Hot air balloons, air shows, fireworks, and entertainment are on the schedule through Sunday.

This years event will feature the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team with shows scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
All of the scheduled activities are weather permitting.
With the recent loosening of COVID-19 restrictions, face masks will not be required but they are welcomed. People may practice their own safety measures if they wish to.
