HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspect they are searching for after an August 21 fatal hit and run crash.
The Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Dylan Lee Jones is wanted on a felony warrant on charges of Reckless Driving Causing Death and Failure to Stop at the Scene of a Crash Resulting in Death. 56-year-old Kevin Brewer was walking down Moore Road near Wildlife Drive in Fayette Township when he was struck by a white Chevy Malibu.
The vehicle stopped and then drove off. Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office says Jones’ last known address was on Logan Street in Hillsdale. Anyone with information concerning Dylan Lee Jones is asked to contact the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office at 517-437-7317.
