BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced that crews will start making repairs on Tuesday on portions of M-60 in Branch County and M-96 in Calhoun County.
The work is scheduled to be finished by September 24.
M.D.O.T says they are investing $150,000 in almost 20 miles of hot-mix asphalt crack sealing along nine miles of M-60 from Old U.S. 27 to 24 1/2 Mile Road near Tekonsha as well as seven miles of M-60 from the St. Joseph/Branch County line to 8 Mile Road near Union City.
Crews also plan to work on nine miles of M-96 (Helmer Road) from Columbia Avenue to Dickman Road in Battle Creek and Springfield.
Drivers are asked to be alert for single-lane closures and traffic regulators.
