COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man was sent back to prison on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court for violating his probation.
47-year-old Terrill Kirk Jones was ordered to serve between 17 months and four years in the Michigan Department of Corrections.
According to M.D.O.C. on line records, Jones absconded from his probation on July 6.
He was sentenced in Circuit Court on May 10 for being in possession of less than 25 grams of a controlled substance last January.
On line records from the M.D.O.C. also show Jones has a criminal record in Wayne and Branch Counties that dates back to 1993 on mostly drug and weapons charges.
