Week #8 HS Football features UC Homecoming and Branch County rivalry

BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – It’s week #8 of the Michigan High School football season and the final night of Big 8 Conference contests.

In games involving Branch County teams, the Union City Chargers will host Springport in Union City’s homecoming game.

The Chargers are 3-4 overall and 3-2 in the Big 8.

In a Branch County match up, Bronson will play at Quincy.

The 1-6 Vikings will be trying to snap a five game losing streak while the 0-7 Orioles will be looking for their first of the season.

In eight person football on Saturday, Tekonsha will play at Battle Creek St. Philip.
