COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Varsity Girls Swim and Dive team finished their regular season Tuesday night at the Browne Aquatic Center as they lost to Portage Northern 98-86 in a back and forth meet that was tied twice.
Coldwater’s Avery Boyce qualified for the diving regionals.
The relay team of Jillian McKinley, Anna DeMeester, Masyn Marsh, and Randi Dudek qualified for the state meet in the 200 Freestyke relay and also set a new team record finishing first in that event. They also won the 200 Medley relay.
Charlotte Calhoun finished first in Diving and broke the team record. Legend Szafranski won the 200 Individual Medley and Dudek won the 50 Freestyle.
McKinley broke the team record winning the 100 Butterfly. She also qualified for YMCA nationals in the Fly.
Coldwater will compete in the S.M.A.C. conference championship on November 5 and 6.
