BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Bronson defeated Quincy Tuesday night in a Big 8 Conference match three games to nothing by the scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-5.
The match was the Orioles “Dig Pink” fundraiser in the fight against cancer.
Bronson Coach Jean LaClair said, “We played well tonight, served aggressively, and had some great swings at the ball.”

Union City won a five-game thriller over Springport on the Chargers home floor by scores of 25-16, 25-21, 18-25, 26-28 and 15-6.
Union City Coach Ashley Herman said, “We have been waiting for our middles to have a standout night and tonight they were on fire! Senior Middle Megann Russell led the way with 14 kills and 2 blocks followed by Junior Mackenzie Hale with 11 kills and 3 blocks. We also saw solid hitting from Senior Outside hitters Jayda Risner and Kassandra Kohsmann who were both huge in the middle back positions for us with a combined 76 Digs! Jordan Chard added to the team win with 44 Assists.” Hope Schley also recorded three aces for the Chargers.
