UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Chamber of Commerce says the annual Union City Community Christmas Baskets project will take place again this year.
Due to a continued Covid-19 concern and out of an abundance of caution for those involved with the project, a hybrid plan of past traditions will be implemented to pack and distribute baskets.
Resident are being asked to please be patient and considerate to the concerns of the committee and the safety of everyone involved while providing support to the cause.
Basket packing will be closed to the public for this year.
You can still help with the distribution of the baskets on Saturday, December 18th starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Union City High School Parking Lot.
Baskets will be delivered just like in the past. To protect those involved and to help ensure everyone can enjoy a healthy holiday season, masks will be required.
More information can be found at the Union City Community Christmas Basket Project Committee Facebook page.
