BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan High School Athletic Association Girls Volleyball Tournament will conclude this weekend at Battle Creek’s Kellogg Arena.
Battle Creek St. Philip is the only area team still alive. They will face Allen Park Inter-City Baptist at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in a Division Four semifinal. The third-ranked Tigers defeated top ranked Adrian Lenawee Christian 3-2 on Tuesday night in the state quarterfinals at Portage Central.
St. Phil’s is trying to add to their state record total of 21 M.H.S.A.A. volleyball championships.
The Semifinals will be held on Thursday and Friday with the four state title matches set for Saturday.
