ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – An arrest has been made in a shooting that took the life of a teenager from Angola on August 31.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release that detectives took 18-year-old Octavian A. Lensky of Fremont, Indiana into custody without incident late Tuesday morning on an arrest warrant which charges Lensky with one count of reckless homicide. The charge is a a Level 5 felony in the State of Indiana.
The arrest warrant comes after a three month investigation by the Indiana State Police along with the assistance of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office into the shooting in the 100 block of North Baum Street in Fremont that claimed the life of 18-year-old Caiden Hulliberger.
Lensky was booked into the Steuben County Jail and was being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
